BBMP has started a round of initiatives to revive 26 lakes located in some of the city's newly developed areas. While detailed project reports to rejuvenate 10 lakes have been approved, the civic body has decided to seek public opinion on what it must cover in the DPRs for the remaining 16. BBMP will use Rs 229 crore received under the Amruth Nagarothana programme for the restoration and has outsourced the projects to revive the 10 water bodies.https://ift.tt/cDopwst
