In a setback to several MLAs and former corporators, the Karnataka HC has dismissed a batch of petitions challenging the notification pertaining to delimitation of BBMP wards. The main contention against the July 14 notification was that delimitation was based on the 2011 census figures and that only ward boundaries had been altered, while population of each ward was not considered.https://ift.tt/V0pqNfm
