Three generations of the Sutar family have worked on shaping the Statue of Prosperity — which will be unveiled by PM Narendra Modi at KIA on Friday — along with 200 craftsmen. While the design and concept were cleared by Padma Bhushan Ram V Sutar, the casting was executed by his son Anil Sutar under the watchful eyes of his father.
