Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of Karnataka accused the BJP of attempting to destabilize the Congress government by poaching Congress legislators in the state. This comes after a Congress MLA claimed that the BJP had offered Rs 50 crore and ministerial berths to Congress MLAs to switch parties. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar also alleged that a big conspiracy was being hatched to destabilize the government. The BJP denied the allegations and stated that the Congress ship was already sinking due to internal conflicts.
