The Karnataka government has announced the recipients of the Karnataka Rajyotsava award, the second highest civilian award in the state. Among the 68 awardees are Isro chairman S Somanath, retired Supreme Court justice V Gopala Gowda, sports achievers TS Divya and Aditi Ashok, NRIs Shashikiran Shetty and Sitharam Aiyangar, and the state's first woman Yakshagana singer Leelavathi Baipadithaya.
