The sales of luxury homes in Bengaluru, priced over Rs 1.5 crore, have increased by 142% in the first nine months of this year. A total of 9,220 luxury homes were sold during this period, compared to 3,810 homes sold in the same period last year. The demand for spacious homes has grown due to the work-from-home experience during the pandemic and rising rental costs.
