The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) has filed a complaint against former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy for illegally drawing power from a street pole to light up his residence on Deepavali. Kumaraswamy admitted to the incident and offered to face any action deemed necessary. Bescom officials inspected his home and a complaint was filed under the Indian Electricity Act.
