Customs officials at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru have seized gold worth Rs 3 crore from seven smugglers. The gold was smuggled in paste form and hidden in innovative ways, such as a woman's handbag and gold-coated handles. The smugglers had arrived on flights from Kuwait City, Dubai, and Bangkok. Two passengers were found with gold in their rectum, while another had gold concealed in his undergarments. The officials are investigating whether the smugglers are part of an international gold smuggling ring.
