Capt MV Pranjal's mortal remains were brought to Nandanavana Layout in Bengaluru with military honours after he died during an encounter with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, chief minister Siddaramaiah, and other prominent personalities paid tribute to the Indian Army officer. The state government pledged support to Pranjal's family.
