A Bengaluru woman sued Flipkart for selling her shampoo above its MRP during the Big Billion Days sale. The consumer court ordered Flipkart to pay her Rs 20,000 in compensation and refund Rs 96 collected in excess. The woman approached the court after noticing that the MRP printed on the bottle was lower than the amount she paid. Flipkart's defence was deemed untenable.
