A 51-year-old man allegedly beat up children and slashed the nose of a woman anganwadi worker in Basurte village. The incident occurred when some children playfully picked flowers from the man's garden. The woman, Sugandha More, came to the children's rescue and was attacked by the man with a sickle. She is now in a Belagavi hospital, out of danger. The accused, Kalyan More, is currently unemployed and the police are searching for him.https://ift.tt/lej2K6D
