Over 1,000 young government job aspirants in Bengaluru protested the transfer of IAS officer Suralkar Vikas Kishor from the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). Kishor had brought efficiency and transparency to the KPSC, which was notorious for delaying recruitments and nepotism. The government moved him to BBMP allegedly due to opposition from political leaders.
