Apartment associations in Bengaluru are facing a dilemma of where to store and whom to give their excess treated water. Despite treating large amounts of water daily, they have no storage space and have been unable to release the water into nearby lakes or underground drainage due to restrictions from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and the National Green Tribunal (NGT).
