Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has set a deadline of November 30 to fill all potholes on Bengaluru roads. He has asked officials to take suggestions from traffic police and the public to identify potholes. Work on projects that were stalled due to an inquiry into their quality and alleged corruption will now resume. Shivakumar has also ordered the restoration of storm-water drains and the banning of overhead cables along TenderSURE roads.
